On or about August 12, 2024 the City of Plattsburgh will submit a request to the Office of Community Renewal for the release of CDBG funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, to undertake a project known as the City of Plattsburgh Drinking Water System Upgrades Project. The proposed project involves the replacement of up to 5,000 linear feet of existing water main along Rand Hill Road and NYS Route 374.
Saturday July 13th 2024 - After receiving a clear water quality test on Saturday morning from a sample taken at the City Beach on Friday July 12th, Swimming at the Plattsburgh City beach is back open to the public.
The City Beach will be closed for swimming starting on Friday July 12 2024 until further notice. Notices are also posted onsite.
