The City Beach will be closed for swimming starting on Friday July 12 2024 until further notice. Notices are also posted onsite.

The City of Plattsburgh is applying for funding through the NY Main Street Technical Assistance Program. The intent of this Program is to identify four projects that will directly improve the City’s capacity and/or readiness to administer a NY Main Street Building Renovation Program in the future. Downtown property owners, and business owners are encouraged to submit an application by Wednesday July 24th to apply to participate in the program.

The highly anticipated Lake City Arts Fest is set to captivate audiences in Plattsburgh, NY, on August 24th, 2024. This annual event brings together a diverse array of talented artists and musicians for a day-long celebration of creativity and culture.

The Plattsburgh Police Department recently had five officers complete Police Bike School with the attempt to grow the City’s police presence in an eco-friendly and more engaging way.

The Parks Come Alive! Event series is set to kick off for the summer season on Thursday July 11th from 4:30-7:30PM at Melissa Penfield Park. Parks Come Alive! Is an event series that pops up in Plattsburgh’s local parks and features local food, drinks, music and activities for kids!

Our nation will celebrate its 248th birthday this year, and what better way to spend your Fourth of July by joining us in Downtown Plattsburgh at the annual Fourth of July Celebration on Thursday July 4th 2024!

This workshop will take place at City Hall on June 18th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. While in-person attendance is encouraged, online participation will be available starting at 6:30 pm for those unable to attend in person via Zoom.
