  1. An Evening Celebrating The Work of S. Booker

    August 3, 2018, 5:30 PM - August 31, 2018, 5:00 PM @ Strand Center for the Arts

The Strand Center for the Arts is excited to host the work of painter S. Booker in the Main Gallery on August 3, 2018. This upcoming exhibit will open in The Strand Center Main Gallery on Friday, August 3, and a free reception will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm that night. His passing left a treasure chest of obscure and relevant sketches, pastels, prints and paintings. This August, the Strand Center for the Arts will be offering one last chance to own an original S. Booker and a loving look and just a small portion of Booker’s legacy. A single show cannot embody a lifetime of good work, but the hope is to honor, contemplate and enjoy these works while relishing his memory. All artwork will be for sale, one last time. Help celebrate the man and artist some simply called “S.”
