On July 25, 2017, the Plattsburgh City Police Arrested Scott Piccirello, 32 and Latif Mansaray, 20 both of Plattsburgh, New York. The arrests stem of two search warrants executed by the Plattsburgh Police Department on two motel rooms located in the Town of Plattsburgh. A State Police K9 Unit assisted in the executions.
During the execution of the search warrants issued by Plattsburgh City Court, Piccirello was found to be in possession of approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine and Mansaray was found to be in possession of approximately 80 grams of crack cocaine. Police estimate the street value of the crack cocaine to be in excess of $18,000. Other items recovered were various items used in the distribution of crack cocaine and approximately $1300.00 in U.S. Currency. Piccirello and Mansaray were each charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree a Class “B” Felony and arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court on July 26, 2017. Both Piccirello and Mansary were committed to the Clinton County Jail on $50,000 cash /$200,000 bond. Additional charges and arrests are pending.
The execution of the search warrants were a result of an investigation conducted by the Plattsburgh City Police Departments Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office.
